Have you ever tried to lose weight without exercising? I’ve been doing that recently and I have to say that it’s not really going too well for me. My situation is a little different from other people because it’s not that I don’t want to exercise it’s that I can’t. only being able to walk on one foot really limits the kind of exercises that you can do. I would love to get on a treadmill and do a few miles but that’s not really possible at the moment. When I am able to walk again I’m definitely looking into some treadmills. I’ve always wanted one and I think they’re the perfect way to lose weight. For now I have to settle for doing little things that can help me to get in better shape!

I’m so very happy that the month of July is almost over. That means that the month of August is right around the corner! What’s great about that is the fact that 31 days later August will be gone and so will these humid 100 degree days! Yaaay! If you’re still in school or you like hot weather you probably don’t share my enthusiasm, but oh well. I’m happy!! LOL I’ve never been a fan of the hot summer months and I don’t think that will ever change. Maybe if I had central air conditioning I would feel differently about the heat. Sometimes I hate when people talk about their air conditioners because I want one so bad. If it’s hot enough I’ll probably even get mad if someone mentions an a/c compressor for cars. That’s how much I hate the heat!!!

This week has been really hot and my mom is really suffering. She has a hard time dealing with extreme weather temperatures because of her health issues. Winter is usually a rough time for her because the cold weather causes her to get sick easily. Since she’s had pneumonia before which lead to her having a failing lung she gets sick a lot. As bad as winter may be, Summer is even worse. The heat cause her lungs and heart to work overtime which often results in her getting heart palpitations. If you know me then you know how much I love my mom. I’m constantly worrying about her. I wish that she would consider getting a medical id bracelet to wear when she’s out. It would make me feel a bit better knowing she has that. I haven’t thought about it much in the past, but I’m really considering getting her one now.

OK, so I’ve been going on and on about cleaning out my computer so that I can make some extra room for new programs and things and I never even once thought about just upgrading my computer! To me it has always seemed like getting rid of files to gain extra memory and hard drive space is an easier task than trying to upgrade my computer but maybe I’m wrong. Cleaning out my computer is definitely very time consuming and I do run the risk of deleting stuff that I may want later. It might make more sense to just go for a memory upgrade and keep all of my stuff. I really have to weigh my options but I can tell you now I’m going for the easiest and cheapest option. Whether that means getting a new hard drive and cleaning out some programs or getting a memory upgrade only time will tell!

I’m thinking about buying another hard drive for my computer. The one that I have right now isn’t quite full but I know that once I start putting the things that I have on my computer onto it I will run out of space fast. I’m going through my computer right now deleting stuff so that I can have more hard drive space but there are a lot of things that I’m not ready to get rid of. I think the hard drive would be a perfect place to put all of those things that I need extra room for. I don’t know what it is about me but I hate to get rid of things that I may need later. That’s probably why I even have a box filled with different extension cords, cables, patch panels, phone cords and lots of other stuff. I don’t like to waste anything!

Do you have a hot tub? I love them. There’s nothing more relaxing than reading a book and enjoying a nice cup of tea in the hot tub. The other day I almost put my fist through my computer screen! I’m not sure how that would have ended since I have a huge flat screen, but I was so tempted to do it. Earlier in the week I had disabled a few programs from auto starting on my computer because I felt that they were causing my computer to run slow. Everything seemed OK until I turned the computer off and tried to turn it on again.

When I turned it on it would not start. It would show the desktop but none of the programs would run. I couldn’t even run Window’s Defender to see what the problem was. After restarting the computer 15 times and being driven to fits of rage I was able to get to Windows Defender and enable the stuff I disabled. Now things seem OK. I’m afraid to turn the computer off because I have so much work to do. I don’t want to have to get a computer rental just to finish my online projects. Hopefully when I do turn it off and back on I’ll have no problems!
