Have you ever tried to lose weight without exercising? I’ve been doing that recently and I have to say that it’s not really going too well for me. My situation is a little different from other people because it’s not that I don’t want to exercise it’s that I can’t. only being able to walk on one foot really limits the kind of exercises that you can do. I would love to get on a treadmill and do a few miles but that’s not really possible at the moment. When I am able to walk again I’m definitely looking into some treadmills. I’ve always wanted one and I think they’re the perfect way to lose weight. For now I have to settle for doing little things that can help me to get in better shape!

My friend claims to have a present for me but he still hasn’t sent it. He says that he has some big monkeys for me but he can’t send them until he can find a box that’s big enough. Whatever!!! I am not buying it. You can get a box from almost anywhere. I told him to go to the supermarket and ask them can he have one of the boxes that they’re putting on the trash but he acts as if I’m making this up. Plenty of times we’ve asked the manager of our local supermarket for old boxes and he was happy to give them to us. I think he’s just making up a reason not to send me my gift. He probably doesn’t even have anything for me!! Even if he doesn’t want to get a free box he can go to plenty of stores that sell cardboard boxes. Even the post office sells them! I think he’s just full of it! Hmmph

Oh my goodness you guys! Today is July 28th! OK, you’re probably like “Um, who cares!”. Well, I care!! There are only three more days left in July! Do you know what that means? That means the summer is almost over. Yay! OK, so we still have to get through August and technically September too, but I’m still happy. I’ve been so miserable this summer. I will be so happy when the summer is only a memory and fall is here. I love fall. It’s my absolute favorite time of the year. Most people love fall because of stuff like Halloween but not me. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind that, but the idea of sending out Halloween invitations is not what has me excited about October. It’s the cool weather and the gorgeous foliage. I love it! I can’t wait until fall gets here. Yaaay LOL

I’m so very happy that the month of July is almost over. That means that the month of August is right around the corner! What’s great about that is the fact that 31 days later August will be gone and so will these humid 100 degree days! Yaaay! If you’re still in school or you like hot weather you probably don’t share my enthusiasm, but oh well. I’m happy!! LOL I’ve never been a fan of the hot summer months and I don’t think that will ever change. Maybe if I had central air conditioning I would feel differently about the heat. Sometimes I hate when people talk about their air conditioners because I want one so bad. If it’s hot enough I’ll probably even get mad if someone mentions an a/c compressor for cars. That’s how much I hate the heat!!!

My arm is itching. I think I’m allergic to the couch in the family room. Whenever I go in there I itch. I’m not sure if it’s the material of the couch that’s irritating me or not. It could also be the throw blanket that we have on the couch. I’m not sure what it is but that couch is evil. Most of the time when I sit on the couch I’ll throw a sheet over it so that my skin is touching the sheet instead of the couch. That’s crazy! If I could, I would get rid of those couches. I don’t like the idea of having big couches in the family room anyway. It makes you want to lie on them and fall asleep. I would much rather have home theater seating in there. That way I can be comfortable while watching television without lying down and falling asleep! Or itching.

Are you interested in cars? I’m not asking whether you like to drive them. I’m asking whether or not you have a passion for them? When I was growing up I was a huge car buff. I loved looking at cars in magazines and reading about them. I definitely take after my mother in that respect. My mother is a huge fan of racing and loves to discover new things about the sport. That’s not really my thing. I just love looking at gorgeous cars and finding out how they run.

When I was younger my dream car was a red convertible. I didn’t have any preference of make or model, I just knew it had to be a gorgeous red car. Maybe even a little red Corvette!! I’ve always loved Corvettes. Those cars are amazing. Have you ever been in a shiny Corvette that’s equipped with a new exhaust system? I haven’t but the roaring sound that one makes is amazing. If I owned a Corvette I’d buy a new exhaust system for that alone, but the fact that it can increase your horsepower makes it even better!!

I need some more hours in the day. Today has been so incredibly long but it seems as if I still didn’t get most of the things done that I want to get done. There are so many things that I have to do around my house. I’ve been cleaning my room for months now and things don’t look much better. Probably because I take out two things and bring back five. You can’t really get anywhere doing that. I can’t wait until I finish my room so I can truly start enjoying my summer. I’m not sure if I mentioned this or not but two months ago I went crazy and bought a ton of books from Amazon as well as joined a book club. The Amazon books were used and I saved a lot of money. I’m really looking forward to having the extra time to start reading them!
