I need some more hours in the day. Today has been so incredibly long but it seems as if I still didn’t get most of the things done that I want to get done. There are so many things that I have to do around my house. I’ve been cleaning my room for months now and things don’t look much better. Probably because I take out two things and bring back five. You can’t really get anywhere doing that. I can’t wait until I finish my room so I can truly start enjoying my summer. I’m not sure if I mentioned this or not but two months ago I went crazy and bought a ton of books from Amazon as well as joined a book club. The Amazon books were used and I saved a lot of money. I’m really looking forward to having the extra time to start reading them!

Don’t you love it when a company is trying to promote themselves and they give away free things so that you can remember them when you need their services? I love it! One of my favorite things to get from companies are pens. I love free pens. I have tons of pens in my room from companies that have tried to sell me things. In some cases the pens really made a difference and made me want to do business with them. In other cases the pens were at least fun to write with. I think using logo pens for promotion is one of the best things that you can do. People might throw away business cards but nobody throws away a free pen. I’d definitely use logo pens to promote any business idea I had. Would you?

OK, so I’ve been going on and on about cleaning out my computer so that I can make some extra room for new programs and things and I never even once thought about just upgrading my computer! To me it has always seemed like getting rid of files to gain extra memory and hard drive space is an easier task than trying to upgrade my computer but maybe I’m wrong. Cleaning out my computer is definitely very time consuming and I do run the risk of deleting stuff that I may want later. It might make more sense to just go for a memory upgrade and keep all of my stuff. I really have to weigh my options but I can tell you now I’m going for the easiest and cheapest option. Whether that means getting a new hard drive and cleaning out some programs or getting a memory upgrade only time will tell!

I’m really regretting taking my personal website offline. Ever since I took it offline I’ve been having a really hard time getting the motivation and opportunity to get it back up. It’s already been months since I’ve had the site up and complete. My goal is to have it up on June 1st but there are already so many things keeping me from getting to it. Hopefully this week I can really get some stuff done. The sooner I get that site up I can also work on getting my other websites redesigned. Especially this one. Wish me luck. I’m sure I’m going to need it!!

The other day I almost put my fist through my computer screen! I’m not sure how that would have ended since I have a huge flat screen, but I was so tempted to do it. Earlier in the week I had disabled a few programs from auto starting on my computer because I felt that they were causing my computer to run slow. Everything seemed OK until I turned the computer off and tried to turn it on again.

When I turned it on it would not start. It would show the desktop but none of the programs would run. I couldn’t even run Window’s Defender to see what the problem was. After restarting the computer 15 times and being driven to fits of rage I was able to get to Windows Defender and enable the stuff I disabled. Now things seem OK. I’m afraid to turn the computer off because I have so much work to do. I don’t want to have to get a computer rental just to finish my online projects. Hopefully when I do turn it off and back on I’ll have no problems!

I was uploading some pictures to add to my photo album and they were so large that I had to resize them all. I don’t mind resizing them but it can be so time consuming to resize each of them one at a time. That’s why sometimes I miss my old computer. When I had my old computer I had a program on there that allowed me to convert all of my pictures to any desired size at one time. That made things so much easier. I’m thinking of looking for the program again but I can’t remember the name. All I remember about it is that it had a batch file converter utility. I guess I can live without having it for now since I don’t take pictures too often. But I definitely want to find it eventually.

I’m not the most tech savvy person in the world but lately I have been learning a lot of new things. People complain about the Internet but I love it. I’ve learned so many great things browsing the Internet. I really don’t think I’d know as much as I do about so many different subjects if I didn’t have access to the computer. That’s why I’m glad my mom has been enjoying being online as well. She’s been shocked to discover what the Internet has to offer. With that said, I’m thinking of buying a KVM switch so that I can connect our computers. She still has a lot to learn about the Internet and I want to keep a watch on things!
