Don’t you love it when a company is trying to promote themselves and they give away free things so that you can remember them when you need their services? I love it! One of my favorite things to get from companies are pens. I love free pens. I have tons of pens in my room from companies that have tried to sell me things. In some cases the pens really made a difference and made me want to do business with them. In other cases the pens were at least fun to write with. I think using logo pens for promotion is one of the best things that you can do. People might throw away business cards but nobody throws away a free pen. I’d definitely use logo pens to promote any business idea I had. Would you?

I have a lot of friends who are big photography buffs and I love looking at the photos that they take. I bought a pretty awesome new camera this year and I’m really looking forward to being able to take some great pictures of my own. I think the only thing standing in the way of me and great pictures is bad lighting. Having the wrong kind of lighting can really make your pictures look bad. Case in point, self portraits. If you’ve ever noticed it seems like most people take self portraits in their bathrooms. For some reason bathrooms usually have the best lighting in a home. I’m not sure if it’s because of the light fixtures or if it’s just the way the bathroom is designed. Either way the bathroom is the best place to take self portraits. Even if you have a mirror in your bedroom.

I have pneumonia again. Boo. I’ve been so sick these past few days that all I’ve done is stay in bed. I’ve been doing some blogging on My Other Sites, if you haven’t noticed. I’m not sure why I’m still keeping this particular blog active, but I really didn’t want to put any paid posts on the other sites. I’ll be blogging here a little more often though. What an uneventful weekend I had. So boring. I pretty much spent the whole weekend in bed and working on my new blog. I’m happy to say that it’s 100% 80% done and up. All I have to do now is work on the content. I have a few ideas to humor myself. I’m not linking my new blog because of the issues I have with certain friends and family members. This week I’m also going to get the design site up and running. I feel so motivated. For now. Besides that, nothing else is going on. I have to complete a commissioned graphic, so I’m going to get to that.
