Computer Stress

Happy Monday. It’s almost 10:00a and my day has already gotten off to a stressful start. I woke up this morning feeling good but then my computer decided that it didn’t want to work. I’m really not sure what the problem is. It started acting weird yesterday after I installed some “crucial” Vista updates. I really hate that Microsoft makes you install things without telling you what they’re for. I’m always uneasy when it comes time to install updates because I’ve had many problems in the past. A few months ago I installed “crucial” updates and now my computer takes forever to start and when it does start, it constantly pops up this little icon saying I’ve added hardware even though I haven’t.

I think Microsoft should be responsible for the damage that they inflict on people. Maybe I do need to switch to a Mac. ;) Don’t get me wrong, I love Vista, I’m just so tired of the problems. Too much stress over electronics. Sometimes dealing with computers is like looking for apartments in Winter. It’s not worth the pain you go through! Anyway, I’m determined to have a great day and I hope you all have a great day as well!

Time For A Space Upgrade!

I’ve been looking for a new hard drive all week. Actually I’ve been looking for one for a few months now off and on, but this week I’ve been looking around almost every day trying to see what I can find. I’ve rounded it down to three different brands. I picked those three because they seem to be the most popular. I’m pretty sure I know what I’m going to get, but now it just comes down to deciding how much I’m willing to spend. My hope is to find a nice 500gb external hard drive for 100$. That includes shipping and handling.

I would also like a good warranty. I saw one that offered a three year warranty which is nice. I actually don’t think having a long warranty really matters much. If something goes wrong with the hard drive I’ll lose everything, so what good would the warranty do, you know? Hopefully I’ll figure it out! Last time I was stressed out over the memory upgrade, now I’m stressed out over the space upgrade! Geeez

What A Small Picture!

You can tell that the Super Bowl is less than two weeks away because all of the commercials and advertisements have started. I can’t go a day without seeing some kind of promotion for the game. It doesn’t matter whether it’s for televisions, sofas, sandwiches, beverages or snacks. You can’t escape them! All day today I’ve been seeing commercials promoting big screen televisions. I guess they know that most guys (and some ladies) love to watch the game on huge screen televisions.

I don’t blame them because I love it too! I’m not really a fan of the game but I do love to watch the commercials. I think I look forward to those most of all. Since the Super Bowl is about 11 days away and I’m broke, I don’t think I’ll be able to afford a big wide screen LCD TV this year. I’ll be stuck watching those hilarious commercials on my old 20 inch television. Oh well, maybe next year!

I love CDs and DVDs. I own dozens of them and I can’t get enough! The only bad thing about buying so many CDs and DVDs is that my taste is constantly changing. Many of the things that I loved 2 years ago don’t interest me now. That’s why I love CD and DVD trading. I’ve honestly been doing if for over 4 years now and it’s given me a chance to get rid of nearly 60 CDs that I no longer wanted in exchange for CDs that I’m interested in owning. It really is a great deal!

If you’ve ever thought about swapping CDs and DVDs you should consider visiting AbundaTrade.com. I like this place because unlike services I’ve used in the past they also let you trade books!! Not only that but they let you trade for cool things that everyone love. What other website lets you trade your CDs for a new iPod! AbundaTrade.com is awesome because even if you’re not the most computer savvy person you’ll understand how the service works.

All you have to do is submit the used cds, DVDs and books that you’re looking to trade in and you can get great gadgets. Trading is simple and fast. It’s also great because you get to do your part for the environment by recycling! And with the holidays right around the corner who wouldn’t want some great new gifts! What are you waiting for? Start trading today!
