I Love My Canon!!

I really love the Canon brand. I’m sure I’ve said this before, but it’s the truth. When it comes to buying electronics, we typically buy Canon products if they are available. The first digital camera I ever bought wasn’t a Canon, it was another brand, but I ended up returning it for a refund. I bought the camera because it was pretty and pink and looked like it would take great pictures. But it was actually hard to use and flimsy. I knew that camera was bad news when the owner’s manual was only 4 pages.

After that bad experience I decided to buy another camera and that time I chose a Canon. I could have chosen any other brand, but after doing a lot of research I decided to go with the Canon camera because it was affordable, had great features and wasn’t really complicated to use. And although it was easy to use it still came with an extensive owner’s manual which is very helpful! If you want a good camera, get a Canon camera. I’m serious, you won’t regret it.

Slippery Slippers

I just bought these new bedroom slippers and I kind of hate them. After wearing some uncomfortable slippers for a long time I figured I would like the new slippers better because they are so plush and wonderful, but I don’t. The slippers themselves are great, but the problem is that they are too big. They seem to be about two sizes to big and they are very wide. They swallow my feet up.

I guess that has a lot to do with the fact that they are men’s slippers! Lol. I was so tired of dealing with flimsy women’s slippers so I purchased a pair of men’s fleece slippers. Bad mistake. At least they are comfortable like a pair of ugg boots. I can definitely say that much! If I could just figure out how to walk in them without slipping out of them and breaking my neck, I would be in business for sure! Maybe I’ll buy another pair in a smaller size because I can’t resist the comfort of these bad boys!!

Bookcycle…

I’ve been giving a lot of thought to boycotting the Internet since my last blog and I’ve pretty much accomplished that goal. I haven’t been spending much time online at all. Unfortunately, I haven’t been doing anything productive either. I’ve been working, resting, watching a lot of episodes of Mission Impossible (the series) and doing other stuff, but nothing creative. I downloaded this new drawing program that I’m trying to learn, but until I learn it I won’t be doing much drawing.

I think I may finally start reading some books that I bought. I bought a few new books from a book club and I bought some used books from a few sites online, including Amazon books. There’s such a great selection of new and used books online, but I almost always buy used books over new books when I can. I think it’s nice to recycle and reuse books. Maybe book publishers wouldn’t agree, but used books are my favorite for many reasons. Not just because I’m cheap!

Mommy Four Eyes…

My mother is really looking forward to Mother’s Day. This year she wants me to pay for her to get an eye exam and a new pair of glasses. I don’t mind doing that because she really needs a new pair of glasses. Every time she wants to read something she has to take her glasses off because they’re so weak and actually prevent her from seeing properly. I find that so odd. I’ve never heard of someone taking off glasses to see.

My mom really doesn’t have any excuse for walking around in those glasses because I’ve offered to pay for her eye exam and glasses for the past two years. But she keeps procrastinating for some reason. Once she gets her eye exam we wont have this problem anymore. I’ll be able to order her discount prescription glasses online whenever she needs a new pair. That will save her time and me money!
