Searching For Balance

I’ve been having the worst time figuring out what I want to do with this website. When I look at it, I definitely know that it needs something different, but I’m not sure what. When I started this website I used to update so much and I would change themes like crazy because changed my mind so often. Gone are those days. I don’t remember how long this theme has been up but I know it has been a long time. The funny thing is that I’m not bored with it yet! That may have something to do with my obsession with monkeys.

I’m going to try to take the time to give this site a makeover. I know that if I figured out a schedule for my life I could find better ways of managing my time. There has to be some balance between what I want to do and what I have to do. The way things are going now, nothing at all gets accomplished.

Personally: My Talent

A Talent Of Yours: I’m not sure that I have any awesome talents, but one thing I’m pretty good at is art. I think I’m a pretty artistic person and I enjoy doing creative things like drawing and painting. If you don’t know by now, I have an art site and I post a lot of my art and stuff on there. Besides creative stuff I think I have a talent for dealing with children. Or maybe that’s a gift. Either way, my mom calls me the baby whisperer because I’m so good with them. I guess those are good talents to have. Here’s one of my favorite pieces that I’ve done.

 

 

 

Personally: My Favorite Memory

Your Favorite Memory: This is such a hard question to answer. It’s funny because some people have a hard time answering a question like this because the bad memories outweigh the good, but in my case I have some many good memories that they actually don’t stick out in my mind. I know that sounds kind of dumb, but it’s true. I guess my best memories would just be of my childhood. I had a pretty great childhood and I have so many positive memories. My mom throwing me a promotion party every summer for being promoted to the next grade, going shopping and having my uncle (RIP) carry the bags and never hearing him complain, meeting my first love for the first time… there are so many. I’m happy that I have so many great memories. It’s sad though because now that I think about it, I haven’t really had many great memories over the last 5 years or so. =/

Personally: My Favorite Outfit

I decided to nix the 30 Day Personal Challenge since I’m only on day 5 and it’s a new month, but I wanted to continue with the questions, so from now on I will be labeling this meme as “Personally:” and then the question. Moving on…

Your Favorite Outfit: Most girls would probably have an answer to this, but I don’t. I’m really not into clothing. I could actually care less. I just wear whatever I pull off the hanger in my wardrobe. Speaking of my wardrobe, it’s mostly filled with dresses. I really love wearing casual dresses around the house, but in public I mostly wear pants or capri pants (in the summer). I’m a girly-girl when it comes to a lot of things, but not clothes. I don’t even own a lot of shoes or handbags. I just go with the flow. I do love to wear pink and blue though.
