Searching For Supplies
December 6th, 2011 Posted 9:39 pm
I never really noticed how expensive art supplies are until I decided to get serious about painting. Everything is so expensive! I literally spend hours looking around online to find the best prices. I hate not being independently wealthy! That would make shopping for art supplies a lot easier. Since I’m a broke artist, I have to rely on comparison shopping to get what I need. I just hate wasting so much time typing codes and product names.
They need to invent some kind of barcode scanner for the Internet. That way I can scan stuff in magazines and catalogs while still shopping online. I would even settle for a website that effectively searches the Internet for different products for you. Until someone comes up with an easier way to find the cheapest prices online I guess I’ll just have to rely on search engines. I just wish that way wasn’t so time consuming!

A Delicious Gift
November 12th, 2011 Posted 11:39 pm
I know most women love to receive flowers as a gift, but that’s just not my thing. Don’t get me wrong, I love flowers and I love to receive them, but that’s never my first choice for a gift or whatever. Instead of receiving or giving flowers for a special occasion, I would much rather give or receive a gift basket. Especially one with candy or fruits. I love fruit baskets!! I was browsing the Shari’s Berries website and I came across a ton of yummy treats.
I absolutely love the Sharis Berries fruit baskets and hand-dipped caramel apples! Those apples remind me of the candy apples I used to love as a child. I also saw some delicious cake pops on the website. I’ve always wanted to try those. Shari’s Berries even offers spa gift baskets. Seriously, if you want to buy a tasty gift, you need to visit that site. You’ll gain ten pounds just looking at the treats!

It’s The Thought…
November 6th, 2011 Posted 11:31 am
I was talking to my best friend yesterday and he mentioned that he ordered a piece of jewelry for me. I really don’t like to wear jewelry, but I thought that was so nice of him. Even if I don’t like something, I’m always so appreciative of the fact that someone thought enough of me to buy me something or do something nice for me. For me, it truly is the thought that counts!
I think I get so excited and happy when someone does something nice for me because it doesn’t happen often and even when it does happen I never expect it. I may have to look into some mens titanium bracelets or something for him for Christmas. I have to think long and hard though because I want to get him something he will love. He’s harder to please than I am!

Not For Sale
September 30th, 2011 Posted 11:34 pm
A few weeks ago my aunt told me that she had purchased a table for a flea market being held by her church and she wanted me to make some stuff that she could sell. I was all for the idea, but as the date got closer I kind of backed out. I really didn’t have any time to make new stuff and the stuff that I did make I didn’t want to part with. I couldn’t stand the idea of selling things that I worked so hard on. Especially for $1 at a flea market.
I did end up giving her a bunch of stuff to sell though. I wanted to keep my word, even if the stuff wasn’t handmade. Hopefully she appreciated that at least. I hope the next time an opportunity to purchase a table at a flea rolls around I’ll be ready. I’d love to have Display Banner Stands with promotional stuff for my website as well as homemade products.
