Buying The Right Stuff…

I’ve decided to get serious about dieting this month, so I purchased four 6-pack meal-on-the-go shakes, a container of the meal replacement powder, and a 2lb container of advanced whey protein powder. I hope that by spending my money on all this stuff I’ll be encouraged to stay on the right track. It’s hard to stick with diets, but it’s also hard to see my money go to waste. Now that I have the shakes plus a ton of yogurts, I think I’ll be able to watch what I eat a lot better. Buying the right stuff definitely helps!

One thing that I’m considering buying next time is a weight loss supplement. I’m not sure if there are good over-the-counter ones or if I’ll have to get something from the doctor. I see so many fat burner reviews online and they make me want to give them a try. I guess most are safe as long as you follow the directions and do a little research first.

Skin Problems Solved?!?

I think mentioned a few weeks ago that I was searching for a face masque or cleanser for my face… well I finally found one that works great for me. It’s the Mint Julep one. That thing works wonders for my skin. I bought the one that’s for acne and problem skin because it claimed to help get rid of black heads and stuff. Even though I don’t have bad acne I have been getting pimples a lot lately. I’m not going to promote the product because I don’t like to do that since what works for me might not work for you, but I will say that so far that stuff has been awesome.

I put it on my face a couple of times and it literally dried my pimple right up. It was actually kind of scary. I’ve only used it three times, so I’m not sure if it was a fluke, but so far it seems like a keeper. I hope it’s that easy to find wrinkle creams when I get older and start getting wrinkles!

Speed Racer…

A few years ago my mom used to be the biggest fan of Nascar racing in the world. Which was really strange because she’s never been a fan of any kind of sport. Ever. Of course her car racing obsession only lasted about two seasons. She said after she got sick she used to be depressed about not being able to walk fast or get around like she used to, so she started watching racing because it made her feel excited to see people moving so fast… since she couldn’t anymore.

I guess she eventually lost interest in watching since it wasn’t a love for the sport itself that made her watch. She does still check the Nascar standings from time to time though. I’m glad I never bought her a Nascar jacket or other Nascar merchandise like I started to. One year I was going to buy her a Nascar throw for her bed. That would probably be in the closet right now collecting dust!

Mommy Four Eyes…

My mother is really looking forward to Mother’s Day. This year she wants me to pay for her to get an eye exam and a new pair of glasses. I don’t mind doing that because she really needs a new pair of glasses. Every time she wants to read something she has to take her glasses off because they’re so weak and actually prevent her from seeing properly. I find that so odd. I’ve never heard of someone taking off glasses to see.

My mom really doesn’t have any excuse for walking around in those glasses because I’ve offered to pay for her eye exam and glasses for the past two years. But she keeps procrastinating for some reason. Once she gets her eye exam we wont have this problem anymore. I’ll be able to order her discount prescription glasses online whenever she needs a new pair. That will save her time and me money!
