Pretty Ironic
April 2nd, 2012 Posted 7:48 am
Life is really strange. It’s funny how things that used to mean so much to you years ago suddenly hold no importance to you. I’m talking about people, places and things, actually. At least that’s been my experience. Some of the people I used to try to hold on to with everything, are the same people I avoid now. Weird. And things that I used to love so much don’t even cross my mind now. I think everyone goes through phases like that, but I’m different. I will obsess over something as long as I’m obsessing over it and then it will mean nothing at all to me. I promise that made sense.
To give you an example, when I graduated I was so protective of my yearbook and class ring. I didn’t even want people to write all over my yearbook because I wanted some things to be special. Now my yearbook is in a drawer somewhere and I couldn’t tell you where my class ring is at if you offered me a million dollars. Maybe if all schools let you design your class ring things would have been different and I would have kept up with my ring. But that wasn’t the case for us at the time.

Should Have Waited?
April 2nd, 2012 Posted 7:38 am
Last year I was so eager to buy a new laptop but now that I have it I rarely use it. I don’t know if that’s because I also have a desktop that I favor. Could be. I just can’t get the hang of the laptop. I never could. I thought getting a huge laptop would be more comfortable since I have arthritis in my hands but it wasn’t. It’s just as uncomfortable as any other laptop I’ve used. I think I just need to get a better mouse. Preferably a full-size one. I have a laptop mouse and it’s so hard to use. I hate that thing!
I’m starting to think maybe I should have waited to buy the laptop. I just couldn’t resist getting one while they were on sale. Although you can find pretty much find HP, Dell, Toshiba, Asus, Sony and Acer laptops on sale at any given time. I guess it’s better that I bought it when I did. If I had waited any longer I would never have gotten it.

Not A Fool
April 2nd, 2012 Posted 7:30 am
Hey guys, happy April! I hope this month turns out to be a great one for everyone. How was your April Fool’s day? Hopefully no one made a fool of you. Mine was lame. I was on guard since the night before so I wasn’t trying to be fooled by anyone. I avoided most things and people online too because people like to play a lot. I considered pulling a few pranks but I didn’t even consider it long enough to even decide who I would prank. I guess I’m growing up. I think online businesses get the most fun out of fooling people on April 1. I always read about what pranks everyone pulled the next day on Wiki. That’s the only thing I find funny. Anyway, have a great week everyone! And remember, don’t let anyone make a fool out of you!

Pleasant Saturday

I had a really great day today. My baby cousin — who just turned two — came over to spend a few hours with us to celebrate her birthday. It was so great to spend time with her. She’s the coolest little lady I’ve ever encountered. She usually comes over every Wednesday to hang out for the day and we always have a ball. I love her! She wanted to stay longer but her 9-year old sister was ready to go. I guess she was bored and had enough of her sister being the center of attention. I don’t blame her!
Now that they’re all gone and my mom is still entertaining my uncle, I’m left to my own devices. I’m not sure how I’m going to spend the rest of the night but hopefully it will be fun! Whatever I decide to do I’m sure it will be indoors. It’s gotten so cold over the last few hours. It literally went from needing one of those Joe Rocket Jackets to needing a parka! Seriously! I’m staying warm tonight!
