There Has To Be At Least One….!!!!

I’ve been online looking for a dictionary for my mom and I can’t believe how hard it is to find one. I guess I have the Internet to blame for that. Everyone wants to Google everything on their phones. No one wants to pick up a book anymore!! I seriously would never have expected finding a recent edition dictionary to be such a task. My mom wanted a Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary but I can’t find any later than 1996. It seems pointless to buy a dictionary that old. Can you imagine how many new words have been added since then.

I think I might settle for an Oxford dictionary. It’s hard finding one of those as well. The woman just wants a simple dictionary that was published after 2004. How hard is that!!! Maybe I need to get on the phone with the dictionary fulfillment center or something!! I’m starting to think it might just be easier to buy my mom a new phone for her to look everything up on. Gosh.

Where’s The Chat Etiquette!!!

I’m so bored tonight. I was talking to my best friend but he just disappeared. I hate when I’m chatting with people online and they sign off without warning me. I think that’s so rude. Most of the time I don’t want to leave because I never know if they’re going to come back. It seems like whenever I decide to wait they never come back. If I do leave, that’s when I come on the next day to find a bunch of rude offline messages. Hmmph!! I think there should be some rules to chatting online. For instance, if you know you have no intention on coming back, it would be nice if you’d tell the other person that!! That’s chat etiquette! LOL

I’m just kidding. It’s really not that serious. I’m just mad I wasted my time waiting on his rude self. I should call him and tell him off! I think I’m going to get off of the computer and read a book instead. I really have no reason to be bored when I have so many things to do. I just wish there was something fun to do. Who has some Wii accessories that I can borrow??? Oh yeah, and a Wii! LOL

Still Killing Time!!!

I was supposed to get my hair done at 1:30p but it’s still not dry! UGH. I think she’s going to start on it at 2p. I really want my hair done but I hate sitting here for two hours. Boo. I have so many things to do once my hair is finished. I have a few assignments due. I’m trying to wait for this guy to get back to me about this website that I designed for him so that I can know what my next step will be. I don’t think I’ll ever love this aspect of web design. I’d definitely much rather deal in premade designs.

Speaking of web design, I put up another theme over at ArtsyGirl.Net. I had the site down for a few days but I finally got it back up. Not much has changed but I did add some new things to the portfolio. I missed updating that site. I regret leaving it down for so long. But I had other priorities. Welp, guess I’ll do some surfing until 2p!
