So Green

I remember a year or two ago when I started watching Planet Green, I became so obsessed with that network. I used to love watching different ways to live a green lifestyle, conserve energy and save money. My mom and I would always say if we ever got rich we would live off the grid. I was only half serious, although watching some of those shows did make it seem possible. Especially that reality show with Ed Begley, Jr. and his family. Um, ‘Living with Ed’ it was called. I loved that show. I used to enjoy seeing him drive his wife Rachelle crazy over the strangest thing.

Watching that show is when I first realized how much sense it makes to buy a composter to make your own compost. They had a compost bin on that show and it was so efficient. Actually, I think they had two. Something like that would be great for my mom and I because we eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. The only bad thing is that we don’t really have a garden.

Guest Star Sarah Chalke On How I Met Your Mother

I loved the episodes of TV show How I Met Your Mother when they featured guest star Sarah Chalke. I watch this show on direct 4 you TV and I have been a fan of Sarah’s since she was Becky on the show Roseanne. I thought she was too pretty to be Becky, but I enjoyed her performances.

When she appeared on How I Met Your Mother, she became Ted’s girlfriend. Sarah played character Stella, a dermatologist that Ted meets when having a tattoo removed that is an embarrassment to him. He asks her out and she doesn’t have a lot of time, so they have a date that lasts 2 minutes and includes dinner, coffee and a good night kiss. I thought maybe she was the one, although I have thought that many times on this show. I couldn’t believe she left poor Ted at the altar.

Sarah Chalke’s comedy performances are hilarious. For someone as pretty as she is, it’s great that she can make me laugh. I loved her on Scrubs with actor Zach Braff, that show was great too. I’m happy that she is starring on a new show called Mad Love. I’ve watched it once and I think it has a lot of potential. I’m looking forward to where her new show is planning on going and I hope that it lasts.

All The Wrong Moves

Sometimes I feel like I need to lose weight to work out. I’m not sure if that makes sense to anyone. I don’t know what it is. I get so tired from the simplest exercises! Maybe I’m not doing the right types of exercises for my body. I need to figure out what I should be doing to lose the most amount of weight the fastest.

I would love to be able to do all the exercises you see those skinny chicks on TV doing, but that doesn’t help me lose weight. It’s fun, but it doesn’t burn enough calories! I need to learn how to use a pull up bar or get on an elliptical or something. Because doing the dance routine from a Britney Spears or Beyonce video isn’t working for me!

Rocawear Will Not Lose…

I was looking at video of the new Rocawear campaign a couple weeks ago and I love it! It’s so awesome. And no, I’m not just saying that because I’m Jay-Z’s biggest fan. I’m saying that because it’s true. They have some really cute clothes! The current campaign features singers Trey Songz and Melanie Fiona and they both look really great in the clothes. I used to love the campaign that they did with Ciara as well.

My favorite Rocawear campaign was the one they did in 2007. I think it was called I Will Not Lose. Those videos were great. I love when clothing lines come up with cool ways of marketing products. I know most people probably started wearing rocawear jeans because of Jay-Z, but the campaigns help reach people who don’t listen to his music, or whatever.
