Scanned and Organized…

I finally persuaded my mom that it would be a great idea to gather together all of the papers and records she has collected over the years and put them on the computer. She has so much stuff, but no real system for organizing things. That’s why everything is so confusing for me. I’ll be honest though, she seems to know just where to find things when she needs them. That’s great for her, but if I ever need to do business on my own I’ll be lost.

If we can ever find the time, one day soon I hope to get everything together and scan stuff into my computer. I know it’s going to take a long time because there are so many things to scan and my All-in-One isn’t the fastest thing on earth. I definitely see why large businesses use scanning software to get organized. It’s hard doing everything by yourself.

Ideal Jobs

I’m not in love with my job, but there are so many things that I love about it. For example, I like that it pays pretty well and it’s super flexible. I don’t think that I could realistically ask for a better situation. If I had my wish, of course, I would be designing for a living. Maybe web design or painting. I love doing those things. But the catch is that I only like to do those things on my own. I like to sell things that I design, not do commissions. I hate doing commissions!

If I wasn’t so shy I would have had a sales job by now. I think sales jobs are great for outgoing people. I know people with great personalities can sometimes convince me to buy something I don’t even need. I couldn’t do that though because I’m too shy and quiet. If I ever get out of my shell I can start selling my paintings! Lol

No Store Credit!

Today was a really long day. I feel as if I’ve been going in slow motion all day. I have to figure out a better way to manage my time. I have so many things to do, but I can’t seem to ever get them done on time. I feel as if I’m just barely getting by at work because I’m always so tired or either stressed out. I need to make so changes fast, but I have no idea how to do it.

On top of everything else, I have to hurry up and use this store credit from some website that I ordered from last month. I really wish they would have given me my money back because I wasn’t happy with their service, but they’re forcing me to order more hair stuff from them. Grr. I’d rather buy Polaris Ranger Accessories! And a Polaris Ranger! ;]

Saving While I Can!

Most of the time I have a love/hate relationship with my job, but one thing I love about it is the pay. And the pay schedule. Sure, I think I’m underpaid and should earn more money for what I do, but the pay isn’t horrible. Especially by the standards of this economy where so many people are being asked to take pay cuts to keep working. I appreciate that I’m paid a decent wage every week. It could be worse.

I love that my job is reliable for the most part. Although things have been shaky lately and I’ve been concerned about getting cut from some projects. Hopefully I can save money before that happens. If not, I might have to do like my friend and get a cash advance payday loan to hold me over! He does that every week!
